This was a very close game with Bromyard Town taking the
lead early in the first half. Rangers battled on competing
for every ball and the play moved from one end to the
other. During one of these forays into the Bromyard half
Jacob Broadbridge scored a fantastic goal, a super volley
for Rangers, to even up the score. As the game progressed
towards half time George Davies scored with a super strike
to put Ledbury into the lead, but delight soon turned to
disappointment as the referee disallowed the goal, stating
the ball had crossed the line seconds after the half time
whistle had been blown! Disappointed, but determined the
boys fought back during the second half but couldn't get
that elusive goal. Bromyard Town however did manage to
score the winning goal and the game ended 2-1.

Ledbury Swifts Rangers - 1 (Goulding)
After
a closely fought match in which Rangers made Bartestree
work hard for the ball, Ledbury scored their first goal of
the season which proved to be a match-winner. Josh Goulding
scored in the second half with a beautifully executed chip
over the Bartestree keeper, who had otherwise kept the
opposition in the game with some very good saves. The whole
Rangers team played brilliantly and with a great deal of
determination; the side have really started to gel and work
together and at time their passing was excellent. Although
the whole team played out of their skins, Matthew Hind was
man of the match with yet another excellent performance in
defence. Well done boys, keep it up!
