On
Sunday 4 September 2005, Ledbury Swifts Under 8’s and
Under 10’s soccer teams traveled by coach to
Shrewsbury to participate in the Meole Brace Soccer Sevens
Invitation tournament.
The Under 8’s and the Under 10’s played some
great football during this excellent tournament and were
both successful in reaching the final of the plate
competition in their respective age groups. The Under 8' s
went that one extra step and won their final by a 2 goal
margin whilst the Under 10’s were unfortunate to lose
their closely fought final by a single goal.
The 2 teams were delighted to bring their trophy and medals
back to Ledbury.
